In July 1966, ABC National Board of Directors established an exclusive club to recognize and reward those ABC members who promote the association by enrollment of new members.
The National Board of Directors approved the formation of the "Beam Club" with the stipulation that all chapters be governed by the same rules and regulations regardless of size or geographic location; and that a member, after acquiring five new members, be honored with "Beam Club" status.
Beam Club Status is a sign of achievement and motivation to others to similarly aid the growth of merit shop construction through ABC.
